Events

In Mammologix’s Medical Audit, what qualifies as an “Event”?

An “event,” as seen in Mammologix’s Medical Audit, is a recording of when a patient had a breast imaging procedure. The procedure's date and outcome (if available) are found in the patient record in the audit.

What are some types of “events” in Mammologix’s Medical Audit?

Some of the types of events you will see in Mammologix’s Medical Audit are:

  • Initial exam date
  • Exam date
  • Final Event in Series

What is the “Final Event in Series,” and why is it important?

The final event in a series is the last recorded imaging procedure for a patient. The audit reports to the facility the number of patients who do not receive an outcome on this final event. This allows providers to note these patients for reference.
