Biopsy Procedures: Ultrasound-Guided Cyst Aspiration
What is an ultrasound-guided cyst aspiration?
This procedure involves a doctor using an ultrasound machine to locate the suspicious cyst within the breast. After the abnormality is located, the doctor uses a hollow needle to remove the fluid within the cyst to test for cancerous cells.
