Biopsy Procedures: Ultrasound Biopsy

What is an ultrasound biopsy?

This procedure uses an ultrasound machine to locate the area of abnormal tissue, which allows the doctor to remove the tissue using their preferred method. Typically, this is done by inserting a needle to remove sections of the suspicious tissue.
